Skylawn Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory on Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid
Skylawn Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory offers a full range of end-of-life services in the Bay area and will be featured in the award-winning documentary series Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid. The informative program will begin airing in July and will be featured nationwide on public television.
The Viewpoint team’s goal is “to provide innovative and unique content featuring the world’s most influential organizations and individuals.” The episode featuring Skylawn staff members aims to educate the public about the benefits of funeral preplanning.
“I truly believe in preplanning – simply for making the at-need process simpler and less emotionally taxing,” said Fiona Norte, location manager, during the interview featured on the program.
Tabitha Correon, family service supervisor, also featured on the program, agrees. “It (preplanning) really does take the burden off the families when they come in for arrangements. They already know what their loved one wanted. You can see it in their faces – they aren’t as stressed,” Correon said.
“Skylawn Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory offers families with a unique and beautiful location to lay their loved ones to rest,” says Melissa Gonzales, family service and preplanning manager. “We are honored that Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid feels the same way and chose us to film, showcasing us as the experts in the funeral industry with a location that speaks for itself.”
